I find it interesting that companies like Honda and Absolut Vodka are using their facebook page as their advertised website. It is no longer about a product only, but about community built around the product. Starbucks did this in the early days by making their coffee shops a third place. By their own admission, Starbucks was not solely about coffee, but about relationships that happen over coffee. Websites now are not just about communicating company values, but creating connection to other users of that product.
